SAFETY FIT® (rigid coupling)
After the mill roll is attached to the drive shaft, the rigid coupling is hydraulically expanded to stick to the mill roll shaft. As a result, the gap between the drive shaft and the mill roll is eliminated, and the eccentricity of the mill roll is reduced.
At the time of mill roll replacement, the hydraulic pressure of the rigid coupling is released so the coupling will shrink for easy replacement work.- Supported shaft diameter
